Designed for use in electrostatic and mist collection systems, this mesh-style impinger filter efficiently captures oil mist and coolant droplets generated by machine tools using petroleum- or synthetic-based fluids. Commonly used as a pre-filter in systems such as direct-mount mist collectors, it helps remove large particles and droplets before they reach the electronic collector cell.

The impinger structure also plays a critical role in self-cleaning, as collected fluids drain back into the machine tool, helping maintain cleaner internal components. However, periodic maintenance is required depending on the application and fluid type.
