Shipping & Service Areas

Kogi Environmental Solutions ships to United States and Canada only. Shipping costs are calculated based on equipment weight and dimensions, as we specialize in heavy machinery and industrial equipment.


Return Policy Overview

We stand behind the quality of our centrifugal fans and industrial equipment. However, due to the nature of heavy machinery and specialized industrial products, our return policy has specific requirements.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return:

  • Inspection Period: You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return
  • Equipment Condition: The equipment must be in its original, unused condition with all original packaging, documentation, and components intact
  • No Installation: Equipment must not have been installed, modified, or integrated into any system
  • Documentation: You must provide proof of purchase and original receipt
  • Inspection Report: For any damage claims, inspection must occur within 5 business days of delivery

How to Request a Return

  1. Contact our sales team at sales@kogi-es.com or info@kogi-es.com with:

    • Order number and purchase date
    • Reason for return
    • Photos of equipment and packaging (if applicable)
    • Proof of delivery
  2. Our team will review your request and provide written approval within 3 business days

  3. Upon approval, we will provide:

    • Return authorization number
    • Return shipping instructions
    • Information regarding return shipping costs (see below)

Important: Equipment sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted and may be returned to sender at their expense.


Return Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and depend on:

  • Equipment weight and dimensions
  • Shipping distance (USA or Canada)
  • Equipment type and special handling requirements

For heavy machinery and industrial equipment, return shipping can be substantial. We recommend:

  • Obtaining a shipping quote before initiating a return
  • Arranging shipping through a freight company experienced with industrial equipment
  • Purchasing additional insurance for high-value items

Return Processing

Once we receive and inspect the returned equipment:

  1. Inspection: Our team will inspect the equipment for damage, wear, or modification (typically 5-7 business days)
  2. Approval Decision: We will notify you of approval or rejection within 10 business days
  3. Refund Processing: If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days
  4. Bank Processing: Allow additional 5-10 business days for your bank to process the refund

Note: Restocking fees of 15-20% may apply to returned equipment in acceptable condition, depending on product type and current inventory.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Customized or Special Order Equipment: Products manufactured to customer specifications
  • Installed or Modified Equipment: Machinery that has been installed, operated, or modified in any way
  • Hazardous Materials: Flammable liquids, gases, or other hazardous goods
  • Used or Damaged Equipment: Items showing signs of wear, damage, or operation
  • Closeout or Sale Items: Equipment sold at clearance prices (final sale)
  • Freight Damage: Equipment damaged during transit without proper claims filing (see Damage Claims below)

Damage Claims & Issues

Report damage immediately upon delivery:

  1. Within 24 hours of delivery, inspect all equipment thoroughly

  2. Contact us immediately at info@kogi-es.com with:

    • High-resolution photos of damage
    • Detailed description of the issue
    • Delivery photos from carrier (if available)
    • Complete delivery documentation
  3. File a claim with the carrier within the required timeframe (typically 24-48 hours)

  4. Our team will work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue:

    • Equipment replacement
    • Repair authorization
    • Partial refund for damage

Important: Damage claims must be filed promptly to preserve carrier liability. Delayed reporting may forfeit your right to file a claim.


Exchanges

For product exchanges:

  1. Return the original equipment following our return process
  2. Once the return is approved and received, place a new order for the replacement equipment
  3. Return shipping costs are your responsibility
  4. Standard shipping time applies to the new order

We recommend contacting our sales team directly at sales@kogi-es.com before initiating an exchange, as we may be able to expedite the process or offer special terms.


Refund Method & Timeline

  • Refund Processing: 10 business days after approval
  • Bank Processing: Additional 5-10 business days depending on your financial institution
  • Method: Refund issued to original payment method (credit card, debit card, bank account)
  • Currency: Refunds issued in the currency of the original purchase

Exceptions & Special Cases

Due to the specialized nature of industrial equipment:

  • Performance Issues: Contact our technical support team before requesting a return. We may be able to resolve issues through remote support or troubleshooting
  • Compatibility Issues: If equipment doesn't meet your specifications, contact us before delivery if possible. Pre-delivery modifications may be available
  • Large Orders: Returns on orders over $50,000 require special authorization and may have different terms
  • Extended Warranties: Equipment purchased with extended warranty coverage may have different return terms
