A client operating a welding training cell on the third floor of a building needed a custom welding fume extraction system that could ensure a clear floor layout and mount all ventilation components overhead. The challenge involved complex logistics for external fan installation and a need for high flexibility in extractor arm placement.

Kogi Environmental Solutions designed a solution using the Movex product line, connecting eight articulating extraction arms to exterior-mounted fans. Ceiling-mounted with custom 5’ powder-coated steel brackets, the system ensured full floor clearance and flexibility for various welding layouts — including configurations with four arms converging at a single point for larger projects.

The result: a fully functional, clean, and efficient extraction system that met every customer requirement, significantly reduced airborne contaminants, and led to additional projects due to the value delivered.
